Heard is led by Fiona Sheil, with 10+ years’ senior and national cross-sector experience at NCVO, NPC, law firm Bates Wells, and as lead strategic commissioner for a London council. In the latter role Fiona oversaw transformation of £162m annual commissioned spend. Fiona is an accredited coach. She was formerly Chair of Guardian Award winning charity, Wheels for Wellbeing.

Recent publications include An Angel on My Shoulder, for Affordable Justice; Investing in Safety – a cost benefit analysis and cost benefit calculator for Southall Black Sisters; and co-authoring Our Sector, Our Voice Our Work evaluating a gender and racial justice programme for Comic Relief.
